Formulasi untuk menghitung besarnya dana alokasi umum

• Besarnya DAU = 26% x PDN APBN
• DAU untuk Provinsi = 10% x 26 % PDN APBN
• DAU untuk Kabupaten/Kota = 90% x 26% x PDN APBN
  DAU Suatu Provinsi =
• (Bobot provinsi yang bersangkutan/ Bobot seluruh prrovinsi di indonesia) X DAU untuk provinsi
  DAU suatu Kabupaten =
• (Bobot kabupaten/ kota yang bersangkutan / Bobot seluruh kabupaten dikota Indonesia) X DAU untuk kabupaten atau kota.
